Spring Break 2016

Even though the kids and I are only in school three days a week, it's been nice not having a set schedule this last week and a half.  And somehow, we still managed to keep ourselves super busy with lots of out-of-the-norm fun activities.

Holy Week and Easter kept us pretty occupied, in and of itself.  So did squeezing in some training runs to prepare for an upcoming marathon.  But the kids were entertained with lots of picnics and trip to parks and other fun goings-on.

We went to Pump It Up.

Lissie finished off her birthday month with a trip to the American Girl Bistro for afternoon tea.

A new birthday tradition!
We took a day trip to Chattanooga and somehow ended up with a membership to the Tennessee Aquarium so we can keep going back.

We helped a friend by watching her two kiddos and making it a super fun outing for all to Monkey's Treehouse and Costco for pizza.

Oh, and I squeezed in some time to sew me a new spring dress and am about to start tackling a few more reusable snack and sandwich bags and napkins.  Whoo-hoo!

And we are finally making some decent progress in getting our townhouse on the market!

I think we're all recharged and ready to tackle the rest of the school year before we enjoy our last summer before Lissie starts full-time school.

Happy Spring!
